Registered Manager

Liskeard Eventide Home Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified full time Registered Manager to lead our team in providing high quality care and support to our residents. As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our care home meets the highest standards of care, safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

*Provide leadership and management to the care team, ensuring that care and support is delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures

* Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents

* Ensure that all staff are trained and competent to provide high-quality care and support

* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided, making recommendations for improvement

* Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring that the home is run efficiently and effectively

* Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

* Ensure that the home is compliant with regulatory requirements and standards

Requirements:

* 2 years of experience in a similar care setting, preferably as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager

* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Health and Social Care

* Registered Manager qualification or willingness to obtain

* Strong leadership and management skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards

Desired Qualifications:

* Degree in Health and Social Care or related field

* Experience of working with vulnerable adults

* Knowledge of care planning and risk assessment

* Experience of managing budgets and resources
